The focus of MJAS is to mobilise, collectivise and capacitate young voices through its 5i strategic interventions and enable them to create a world just and equal for all. MJAS strives towards co-creating safe and supportive spaces for women and girls so that they are able to exercise their agency to its fullest. This empowers them to utilize their citizenship rights to access services, entitlements and opportunities. Currently, MJAS is operational in 200 villages and semi-urban localities across three districts of Rajasthan, with an outreach population of more than 100000.
In recognition of its outstanding efforts, MJAS was awarded the “Best Organization for Gender Equality Award” by the Martha Farrell Foundation, New Delhi, in 2019 and many more.
A just, equal and inclusive world where women and girls enable change for all.
Empowering women and girls as changemakers, who collectively lead movements to transform ecosystems at the levels of self, system and society (Triple-S ToC) focusing on the most marginalized communities.
To implement MJAS’s Triple-S Theory of Change(ToC) key strategies are:
Innovate to foster the leadership of girls and young women to be the change makers of their own lives.
Ignite village-level/local networks and ecosystem of peers and allies for dialogue and collaboration with girl and women changemakers
Integrate the voice and ideas of girls and women in public planning and policy
Influence the change narrative/ discourse shift towards the recognition and celebration of girl and young women changemakers
Initiate excellence in execution within MJAS to achieve the above
